Our favorite star-studded culinary experience returns this year with some new and familiar faces! Join us for Taste of Space: Celebrity Chef Edition on Saturday, November 2, 2024. This year, we welcome back chef Duff Goldman (Ace of Cakes, Kids Baking Championship) and a new face to Taste of Space, chef Amanda Freitag (Chopped, Iron Chef America). Chef Jon Ashton (The Today Show, The Tonight Show) returns as well to cook up something special and serve as our host. Even veteran NASA astronauts Robert “Bob” Cabana, Janet Kavandi and José Hernández will participate and share their spaceflight stories to those in attendance.

6:00 PM - 8:30 PM

The Chef Demonstration and Tasting is a one-of-a-kind evening event featuring the celebrity chefs demonstrating their expert cooking techniques on stage. They will share their custom menu samplings with the astronauts and audience. To top off the evening, Chef Duff's Charm City Cakes will unveil a signature space-themed cake to be enjoyed by all.

Exclusive VIP Chef Experience

6:00 PM - 9:30 PM

Be one of the VIPs who will enjoy an elevated culinary experience featuring the celebrity chefs. In this small and exclusive group setting, enjoy a multi-course dinner designed for you by the chefs themselves. As you are a VIP at this event, your table will receive personal visits from the chefs while you enjoy conversations with astronauts Hernández, Cabana and Kavandi.

This exclusive dining experience includes:

The Live Celebrity Chef Demonstrations and Tastings at 6:00 PM (see above) followed by:

• A plated meal created by the chefs
• Open bar featuring wine from José Hernández’s winery Tierra Luna Cellars
• Photo and autograph opportunities with the chefs and astronauts

Nowhere else on the planet can you participate in a culinary experience quite like this. The private dining location will be on the second floor of Gateway inside the flight terminal of Spaceport KSC^®.
