- SpaceX has announced they will attempt to launch a Falcon Heavy rocket from LC-39A the same evening as this launch. Therefore, the LC-39 Observation Gantry is now inaccessible due to its proximity to that launch pad.
- Those with an LC-39 Launch Transportation Ticket will instead be transported to the Apollo/Saturn V Center where they have the opportunity to watch both launch attempts!
- Bus boarding begins at 4:00 PM at the main Bus Tour boarding area. Have your LC-39 ticket ready to show visitor complex staff.
- Included food, beverage and souvenirs will be available at this new location.
The Atlantis North Lawn will remain open for both launches to anyone with admission.
MISSION:
A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket will launch the second pair of O3b mPOWER broadband internet satellites into Medium Earth Orbit for SES of Luxembourg. The satellites, built by Boeing, will provide internet services over most of the populated world, building on SES’s O3b network. The launch window will open at 5:12 PM ET and conclude at 6:40 PM ET.
