Mission:
SpaceX's Starlink is the constellation of networked satellites aimed to provide internet services to those who are not yet connected, and to provide reliable and affordable internet across the globe.
Launch Viewing:
Hear the roar of the Falcon 9 rocket from the Apollo/Saturn V Center or Atlantis North Lawn, included with daily admission.

Banana Creek Launch Viewing Area
- Approximately 3.9 miles / 6.27 kilometers from the launch pad
- See the rocket leave the launch pad
- Included with daily admission
- Viewing area opens at 10:00 AM
- Accessible via the Kennedy Space Center Bus Tour on a first come basis
- Launch audio, video, and communicator commentary available beginning at 10:00 AM
- Buses will drop off in visitor complex bus loop post-launch
Atlantis North Lawn
Located to the left when approaching Space Shuttle Atlantis®
- Approximately 7.5 miles / 12 kilometers from the launch pad
- Viewing area opens at 10:00 AM
- See the rocket once it clears the tree line
- Included with admission to visitor complex
- Launch audio, video, and communicator commentary available
Important Information:
- Plan to arrive early! Kennedy Space Center experiences increased traffic on launch days, and there is construction on SR 405/NASA Causeway and SR 3/Courtenay Parkway resulting in lower speed limits and lane closures. Allow extra time for single-lane roads leading up to the visitor complex.
- Most visitor complex attractions and exhibits will close at 5:00 PM, with the exception of Space Shuttle Atlantis. Guests viewing the launch may remain at the visitor complex until the launch or a scrub.
