Did you know? "Lucy" is not an acronym like commonly seen with NASA missions. This mission was named after the name given to the fossilized human ancestor whose discovery provided insight into human evolution. Likewise, this mission to the Trojans will help progress our knowledge of the formation of our solar system and planets.
