Special Annual Passholder Event | National Geographic’s “Apollo: Missions to the Moon”

May 15, 2019 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM IMAX Theater

Annual passholders are invited to an exclusive screening of National Geographic’s new film, “Apollo: Missions to the Moon” May 15, 2019 at 5:00 PM in the IMAX® Theater. The movie, not yet publically released, features newly transferred film and never-before-heard audio to recount the groundbreaking, key moments of the United States’ goal to land on the Moon before 1970. With no narration nor modern-day talking heads, the missions are experienced entirely through archival TV footage, never-before-heard radio broadcasts, home movies, NASA film and Mission Control audio that is edited together to create an eyewitness-like experience.

The producer and editor of the film, David Tillman, will join the screening. “Apollo: Missions to the Moon” is approximately 90 minutes long. After the film, be sure to stay and take part in a question and answer session.

IMAX Snax will remain open for the screening, with classic movie concessions available for purchase. This screening is offered on a first come, first served basis as theater seating is limited. No additional purchase is required to attend the event, but be sure to RSVP below to ensure your seat!

Remember to bring your annual pass to gain admission to the visitor complex and the screening. You will also need to bring a copy of your reservation confirmation either printed or on your mobile to attend the screening.
