Exploration Meets Education

Inspire the next generation of space explorers with a field trip to Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. During a field trip, students stand nose to nose with space shuttle Atlantis, learn about NASA’s pioneering astronauts in Heroes & Legends featuring the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame®, explore the Apollo/Saturn V Center, home of the massive 363 foot-long Saturn V Moon rocket, go NASA areas behind the gates, interact with shows and exhibits and so much more.  Discounts are available for student/youth groups of 15 or more.

Enhance Your Field Trip

Compete in a rover building challenge with this add-on engineering program! The experience will last approximately 90-120 minutes (1.5-2 hours) and is designed for grades 5-12. The activity will be customized with different challenges based on the group’s size and age.

  • Students must be 10 years of age or older to participate
  • The visitor complex requires a 1:10 ratio of adults to students; chaperones must be 21 years or older
  • The program requires a minimum of 50 and a maximum of 72 participants
  • Payment is due at the time of booking. Refunds will not be offered for cancelations that occur within 4 weeks from the start of the program

Price: $35 per person, plus tax in addition to admission

This add-on enhancement is only available by booking in advance through the Reservations Department.

Do you homeschool? The visitor complex also welcomes homeschoolers with a special discounted rate. Just by visiting, your homeschooler can also learn about STEM from the place where scientific history was made and continues every day.
