40th Anniversary of Women in Space Panel

Did you know Sally Ride was the first American woman in space? Her mission was in 1983 and Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex celebrates the 40th Anniversary of American Women in Space this summer! During this Women in Space Panel, hear from female trailblazers about their journey to space and how they helped change the workplace. The panel begins at 11:00 AM inside our IMAX theater and will last approximately 40 minutes. Then, the group is invited to head to the conference facility on the lower level of Heroes and Legends for a photo opportunity. The event will be moderated by Lisa Malone, former Director of Public Affairs for NASA, Kennedy Space Center (KSC).
