Callie & RT's Mission to the Moon
Fact-Finding Scavenger Hunt

Jun 15, 2023 - Aug 20, 2023 Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex

All summer, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is commemorating the 40th anniversary of Sally Ride's first spaceflight, which made her the first American woman in space in 1983. During the Celebration of Women in Space, we will highlight the numerous achievements made by women in this field.

As part of this celebration, join Commander Callie Rodriguez from NASA's graphic novel First Woman as she helps her robot pal RT learn more about our solar system. From June 15 - August 20, pick up a Callie & RT's Mission to the Moon Fact-Finding Scavenger Hunt book at Information or the Space Shop to begin your mission. With the book as your guide, or the map found on our Kennedy Space Center Guide app, stop at six solar system-themed education stations throughout the visitor complex. There, you will scan the QR code on your mobile device to view a short video. With the information found in the video, answer the related question found in the book. Once you answer the question, place the appropriate sticker on the map to show you completed that station. After you visit all six stations, return to Information or Space Shop on your way out to pick up a collectible prize! Thank you for helping RT continue his education!

The Callie & RT's Mission to the Moon Fact-Finding Scavenger Hunt and the block party are included with admission. The book and collectible prizes are all available while supplies last.
