Safety Manager: The Safety Manager will play an active role in establishing the strategic direction for the department based on risk, compliance and operating assessments. This position exists to provide overall management for health and safety direction for employees, subcontractors and guests by identifying risks and potential losses and structuring programs to minimize such through employee education, loss prevention programs, and administrative measures. This position also provides financial analysis of alternatives and improvement measures. This is a hands-on position intended to work with each department to identify areas for review and make recommendations for improvement. The position will also work to recruit a high caliber team, set departmental standards and goals, provide staff training and mentoring, establish reporting and communication protocols and prepare the Chief Operating Officer, Director of Finance and department director for presentations. Marketing Manager: Responsible for both direct to consumer and business to business segments online and offline marketing and eCommerce initiatives. Collections Manager: The Collections Manager is responsible for all aspects of documenting, preserving, protecting, and providing access to the art and artifact collections under the care of the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. While some of these responsibilities may be delegated to a registrar, collections technician or other staff member, ultimately the ownership for performance and fulfillment remains with the Collections Manager. The Collections Manager is, at all times, charged with advocacy for the safety and integrity of the collections under his/her charge. Advanced Degree in museum studies or a similar, related field and or proven experience in Collections Management. High energy, self motivation and flexibility a must. Director of Protective Services and Compliance: Under general direction, responsible for the overall management and direction of Security, Environmental Management, Safety and Health, and Legal activities at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor complex. Provides overall guidance to the functional and operational areas of responsibility, ensuring that activities are in compliance with established company policies and procedures; plans and budget directives. as well as NASA Security directives and other DoD regulations and policies. Ensures that Environmental activities are in compliance with applicable federal and state regulations along with Company policy. Ensures that Safety and Health activities are in compliance with Company policies to ensure a safe and healthy work place for all Delaware North employees. Responsible for the implementation of sound financial programs to ensure operations are conducted in a cost-effective manner. Serves as the principal advisor to the Chief Operating Officer on Security, Environmental, Safety & Health and Legal matters. Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management, Safety Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental Management required. Law degree desirable, equivalent experience acceptable. Minimum of ten (10) years experience in any combination of the following; Contracts, Industrial Safety, Environmental Management, and/or Security operations. HR MANAGER: Manages all Human Resources and Labor Relations functions and ensures compliance of all state and federal laws, as well as appropriate policy and procedures related to these functions.
Position requires Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or a related field. Five to ten years of professional experience in human resources, including three years of supervising and managing staff and programs. Five or more years of experience in labor relations, including grievance handling, arbitrations and labor contract negotiations. Ability to interpret and apply a wide variety of laws, regulations, contract language and policies pertaining to human resources, labor relations and employee benefits, including but not limited to the Fair Labor Standards Act ( FLSA), National Labor relations Act ( NLRA), the Service Contract Act (SCA) , and development and application of Area Wage Determinations (AWD). Accounting Clerk III: Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of accounting experience required, Preferably in the general accounting area. Two year degree in accounting preferred. Candidate will have knowledge and experience in General accounting, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions as well as internal and external financial reporting. Ability to identify & correct errors. Individual will share the responsibility for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable including General Ledger coding, entering invoices into the accounts payable system; processing vendor payments, performing daily sales reporting including reconciliation and problem resolution. Public Relations Representative: Responsible for fulfilling the day-to-day needs of the public relations department. Writes and edits feature stories, news releases, media advisories, web content, promotional copy and ad copy. Researches and develops targeted media lists using on-line media directories. Coordinates media interviews, comp media tickets, familiarization tours for media, media events, film crews, and news media kits. Tabulates print, broadcast, blog and internet coverage. Assists in social media updates. Supervises the fulfillment of requests for charity ticket donations, special charity events and scholarship requests. Monitors space and tourism news stories. Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or other related field and a minimum of one year related experience. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Must be proficient with standard office equipment and Microsoft Office.
Cook: (4 full time positions) Prepares menu items for the Orbit and catering functions, including salads, sandwiches, salad dressings, fruit platters, etc. Prepares food according to specifications in a consistent manner. Qualified individuals must have two (2) years experience in a similar, high volume restaurant kitchen. Must be familiar with many food items, as well as primary ingredients used in many dishes and proper presentation methods.
Inside Sales Associate: Provides information and generates sales of group and individual tickets and vacation packages through telephone and in-person contact. Qualifies telephone leads for KSC-VC and NASA. Refers leads to appropriate market segment. (i.e. hotel, military, youth, vacation packages). Up sells, matching the client to the proper ticket/program/promotional offering. Closes the sale and solicit leads. Inputs bookings into central reservation system. College degree preferred. Previous experience selling. Must have excellent telephone skills. Must demonstrate excellent customer service to all guests and internal customers.
