Past Event: Space, Air & Sea Weekend

Meet veteran astronauts and honor American military heroes all in one amazing weekend. Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is partnering with the Cocoa Beach Air Show to bring you an exciting weekend of activities surrounding the 2011 Space, Air and Sea Show.

The Cocoa Beach Air Show, the largest annual event held in Brevard County, will take place over the oceanfront on November 5-6, centered at Lori Wilson Park in Cocoa Beach. This year’s event will celebrate 100 years of Naval Aviation with the U.S. Navy SEALs and the F-18 Hornet Demo Team. Other attendees include a diverse and extreme lineup of aircraft, including the Heavy Metal Jet Team, B-1 Bomber, F-16 Viper and Vietnam-era F-4 Phantom.

In addition, the Astronaut Scholarship Foundation's Autograph & Memorabilia Show will take place this same weekend at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. In conjunction with both events, Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex will be celebrating space exploration with presentations by Apollo, Skylab and space shuttle astronauts and ground crew on November 5-6. On November 6, the Navy SEAL Parachute Team will jump into the Rocket Garden with a photograph and autograph session to follow.
